Love Thursday-Love Note

This yellow post-it note was left on the bathroom mirror 11 years ago. (Sorry for poor picture quality, the note is pretty beat up after that much time.) I doubt my husband remembers writing it. I do. I am convinced that while grand, sweeping gestures are great it is the small gestures that have the greatest impact. Do you have any small examples of love that you treasure? Happy Love Thursday, I hope something small makes your day today.

  1. Soooo totally the small things. Do you wish we had tokens more often? Or do you think that would take away the meaning?

  3. I don't care if my husband does anything for Valentine's day or mandated holidays. It's enough for me that he goes to Wal-Mart at midnight to get a new battery for my car and then installs it right away so I can go to the gym in the morning. That he does the dishes on the weekends even though he works his butt off during the week. That he'll watch chick flicks with me even though he prefers heavy drama.

It is the everyday that counts, not once or twice a year.
